for new +  upcoming event planners

Listen, I've tried it all! I have made contact forms, websites, and planning documents only to toss them all in the trash and start over again and again!  Starting a planning business is a task! I spent hours looking for a program that would teach me the basics and also be a resource as I started my company.  A place to ask all the hard and confusing questions and a trusted community to break down the walls of fear and doubt.

I have found, in building my own company, that we all need a little coaching and a little guidance now and then. Our coaching experience will tackle tough topics like client relationships, professionalism, how to run a successful business and so much more!

I have a passion to teach new and inspired planners making their first steps into the industry! Over the years, I've experienced so much-some really good moments and some really terrible moments! I think it is so important to share these experiences to empower others. My coaching style is hands-on and positive knowing that we all have stumbles and struggles in our business growth!

"My favorite part of the internship was the She Said Yes projects! Karie was very flexible with our schedules, which I greatly appreciated. I loved when we met for our one-on-one because it helped me take a step back and really evaluate the projects and class material and get answers to the questions and concerns I had. I loved how she started out with branding and the steps within the curriculum. Karie showed how to build networks within the wedding industry and with clients and how to maintain great relationships within the community."    Shannon

WHERE IS SHE NOW: Shannon was hired by a local high-end venue as a Venue Coordinator and thriving! I have had the pleasure of working with her for some of our own weddings and I'm so proud of what she is accomplishing!

"I don't have enough words to describe how thankful I am for Karie and the She Said Yes Program! Not only did the class provide valuable materials and resources to become a wedding planner, I also made amazing friends and great connections with others in the industry. Karie was a fantastic instructor, even when new challenges came our way with shutdowns and restrictions. She gave me the strength and confidence to open my own business, and I couldn't have done it if not for She Said Yes Weddings.  I would highly recommend this program to anyone wanting to learn more the wedding industry."   MacKenna

WHERE IS SHE NOW: MacKenna has jumped right in and is working at a local event catering company running the entire back of the house during events. She is doing so well!
